Is the consultation really free?+
Yes, completely. There is no cost, no obligation, and no credit card required. The call is my opportunity to demonstrate the value I bring — and your opportunity to decide if working together makes sense.
I'm not ready to buy for 12 months. Is it too early to call?+
Not at all. Some of my best client relationships started 12–18 months before a purchase. The earlier we connect, the more I can help you narrow your focus, monitor the market, and prepare your finances so you're positioned perfectly when you're ready to move.
Can you help me search for homes remotely before I visit?+
Absolutely. I set up custom search alerts on my IDX system, preview homes via video before sending them to you, and can do virtual walkthroughs of properties. Many of my relocation clients are well-prepared before they ever board a plane.
Do I have to be in Minnesota to work with you?+
No. I work with buyers across the country via video, phone, and email throughout the entire process. Closing can even be done remotely via Remote Online Notarization (RON) in many cases. You can purchase your Minnesota home without ever leaving your current state until moving day.
What if I need a lender? Can you recommend someone?+
Yes. I have a short list of trusted local lenders who specialize in working with relocation buyers — including buyers with out-of-state income, RSUs, or complex financial situations. I'll share recommendations after our first conversation.
How much does it cost to work with you as a buyer's agent?+
In Minnesota, buyers are typically represented at no cost to them — the seller's commission structure traditionally covers the buyer's agent compensation. As of the 2024 NAR settlement, this is now negotiated explicitly in a buyer's agency agreement. I am transparent about all fees and will explain the current structure clearly on our call before any agreement is signed.
What suburbs do you specialize in?+
I cover the full Twin Cities metro — all 45 suburbs on this site and beyond. I grew up in the Woodbury area and live in Lakeville, so I have deep personal roots in both the East and South Metro. But I am equally comfortable advising on the West Metro, Northwest Metro, and North Metro. The full metro is my market.
